4-Can you tell us about your new fantastic album PATRIOTS?
Patriots Mi Seh!' Although it took a few years to complete, Cat, Richie, Ruption and myself had so much fun doing this collaborative project. It was a joy getting all the artists on board and working in the studio with them. And the work was worth it.. Patriots is an excellent project that we all accomplished together.
5-How began the story about the connection with VP RECORDS?
This is the first album that Third World has distributed with VP and it has been a pleasure. The VP Records family been around for a long time in the Jamaica music business, so they know what they are doing, for Reggae right now "dem run tings"
6-What do you think about Haiti situation?
The Haiti situation, how much longer will my people suffer but the as the song goes, "The Spirit Lives - its living in the people and it will never, never, never, never , it will never die" Out of Many we are One, the world must continue to pray for those in need.
7-What do you remember about recording with Marley Brothers, Junior Reid and Capleton?
Recording with Junior Reid and Capleton as well as everyone on the Patriots album, it was
the same feeling I had when recording with Stevie Wonder and Kenny Gamble, it
was a natural high. Working with Gregory (RIP), Marcia, Rose, Inner Circle and Toots was like being in the studio with my family. And the second generation Marleys.. it was history, I am proud of those boys, you know they Damian and Stephen are Third World's godchildren. And of course working with Tarrus Riley and Tessanne Chin was incredible, both have big long-lasting careers ahead of them. Every recording session was like a different chapter in the Patriots album book. Like I said, It was a Natural High!
