1-What are your feelings about the recent last project the EP "The Love"? We enjoy the record!! Thank you! I love that project. It was very personal to me and I put my heart into it. A lot of people supported it but I think it missed some people because it was a little different than Dreampusher. But that’s okay, I made the music that was on my heart at that time and I am proud of it.

2-And the story behind in the power record and videoclip “Stay Shinin'” with Talib Kweli?

I’d been fortunate enough to meet Talib Kweli a few times. It’s a big deal to me because he is one of my top three favorite artists! We asked him if he would be down to do a song and he said yes. That’s what being a dreampusher is all about! It’s called Stay Shinin’ because we are both magnificent stars and when we use our gift, we shine.

		4-Can you tell us about something of the history in the making of your great “Dreampusher” ? Dreampusher is my first project, my baby. Before that, I never thought that I could make a full length project. I just wanted to get on stage and perform. =) My DJ, Sandman, really pushed and encouraged me to keep making music and before you knew it.. we had a full project.

5-What do you remember about touring with legends like The Wu-Tang Clan, Mos Def, Big Daddy Kane, Redman and Method Man, KRS One?

I just remember most of them telling me to keep going and to never change. I remember KRS pulling me out on stage, putting me on the spot.. then saying “THIS is a REAL emcee!!” I will never forget that.

 

6-What changes can you see in the actual music about the digital media and the liberation of tracks via internet? What do you think about Bandcamp, SoundCloud, Ustream and other free media devices?

I think the internet has changed the game in an awesome way. Without it, I probably wouldn’t have connected with Moochila! I am grateful for all of the sites you mentioned because it allows me to connect with my listeners all over the world.

 

7-Can you tell us about the experience meeting and creating beatiful music with Dj Premier? 

I remember when I met Premier, I was kind of shy at first. He was on stage doing a soundcheck and I was nervous to go up there. Then he said come up here. I was like “who.. me?” LOL. But man, he is the most humble down to earth dude. I’m honored to know him and to work with him.

8-Are you recording new featurings with other artists?

I have some things in the work. Stay tuned!

 

9-Can you describe the process of making music with Marsha Ambrosius?

Actually, I didn’t work with her on that song. Her record label asked me to remix the song. I was very grateful because I am a big fan of hers and I loved that song!

10-What it’s your label situation right now?

Right now I am an independent, unsigned artist. We are making a lot of moves but we are definitely looking for ways to take it to the next level.

 

14-Maybe a 2013 tour in Argentina?

Please!! :) I would LOVE to tour in Argentina.  If you’re reading this and you want to bring me there, holla! ;-)

 

15-We have one funny question for everybody: What do you have in your bag/backpack (it means “Moochila” in spanish) ?

HAHA! Umm… gum, wallet, a opy of the love EP and of Dreampusher (never know who you will run into) and lotion because I have to stay smooooth. ;-)
